Robert Polito 

Robert Polito recieved the National Book Critics Circle Award for Savage Art, his biography of Jim Thompson. A poet, biographer, and critic, he has published five other volumes.

Polito directs the Graduate Writing Program at the New School, and teaches in the low residency MFA Writing Program at Queens College, Charlotte, NC. He lives in New York City and New Paltz, NY.
