Greg Olear (OH-lee-ar) is a product of the Jersey suburbs, Georgetown University and his own delusions of grandeur.

He is the author of Us & Them, a novel; Helen of Troy, N.Y. , a screenplay; and various and sundry poems, short stories, lyrics and essays.

A founder of the New Paltz Book Project, Greg is the owner and lone employee of Nine Muses, a web design company. In 2000 and again in 2004, he edited and wrote a weekly column for LARGEREGO, an e-zine.

Since 2005, he has lived in the greater New Paltz area with his wife, the musician Stephanie St. John; their son Dominick; and their two cats. Baby #2 is on the way.
